Beautiful interior and setout. Great customer service and the food was absolutely amazing! I highly recommend the lamb pizza and prawn linguni.
Seriously, their food is amazing. You've gotta try the lamb and the seafood linguine to name a couple of dishes, they're damn good. It's like a flavor explosion in every bite. The whole vibe there is just perfect for a fantastic meal out. Also the pizza is spot on too.
Had enjoyable afternoon sitting in veranda area protected from elements outside. Food was great, staff were friendly and efficient and very helpful. Second visit in a week and will definitely be returning!!! Thank you.
We had our end of year work function here and it was excellent. Even with the rain it was dry on the deck and in winter it would be very comfortable with the overhead heaters and fulling enclosed with clear blinds. They've done it right for all year round use. With two bars you don't need to wait long for a drink even when it's busy. The pizza was one of the best in Hobart. Well done to the whole team. We'll be back!
If you love woodfire pizza and have a big family, then Metz is the place for you! They serve 1/2 price pizzas for dinner on Mondays and Tuesdays (eat in only). We ordered Calabrese, AOC and Prawn Pawn pizzas and Indian Chai which was very filling and we enjoyed it thoroughly. The ambience was warm and welcoming. Very friendly and accommodating staff.
Had an awesome Saturday afternoon here. Even during winter the deck felt warm and cozy, and a great atmosphere for some drinks. The saganaki and Metz bread were the standouts for us… we ordered two of both!! Even came back the next day for breakfast and sat by the fire. Will be back again and again.

Alex and Drew have done a fantastic job turning this venue around and back to a vibrant and fun place to eat and drink . The staff are all very friendly and efficient . The menu and food is scrumptious . A must , for a frequent dining experience
